Where did October go?  That month was an absolute blur!  NFR was on the road  throughout the month as well as attending the IBMA tradeshow and Fan Fest.  The week was slammed full of showcases and rehearsals at night and meetings during the day.  Some exciting news, we’ve recently signed an exclusive recording agreement with Rounder Records.  We are thrilled for this to happen.  Rounder is one of the largest, most proven independent labels in the world with world class artists on their roster, which include Alison Krauss & Union Station, Harry Connick Jr., Branford Marsalis, Rush, Duran Duran, Tony Rice, Rhonda Vincent, Doyle Lawson, Blue Highway, The Grascals and many more. We’re honored to be a part of such a fine company.  These folks have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. The band started our new recording this week in Nashville.  Rob Ickes, resonator guitarist great and member of Blue Highway is our producer.  He’s an awesome musician and a great guy to be around.  We’re glad he’s a part of this first Rounder project.  We’ll finish it in December and hopefully have it out before the Summer of 06’.  We’ll keep you posted.  That’s all for now!!
